Being married myself, I know that weddings are expensive – but a wedding photographer doesn’t have to cost the earth. When you use my services, you don’t pay for a prestigious studio or high advertising costs, you simply pay for stunning photographs taken by an experienced, professional and friendly wedding photographer.

Also, to keep your costs down you don’t pay for my travel costs or meal costs, and you can have as many location shoots as time allows.

Fairness. You own full copyright of your photographs and receive an uncapped number of photographs.

When you use my wedding photographic services, you receive every single photograph that I take, on disc. Also, all copyright belongs to you, which means that you don’t have to seek permission to take additional copies, or to have your photos published anywhere.

Transparency. You can chat to past customers.

I understand that choosing a wedding photographer is a big decision, that’s why I’m happy to provide you with contact details from past customers. (I respect my client’s privacy, so I will only supply you with the details of people who have expressly allowed me to do so).

Availability. I am in demand but not impossible to book.

There’s nothing worse than deciding on a wedding photographer and then realising that the chances of booking him or her is near impossible. While I can’t guarantee that I’ll be free on your particular date, I am certainly not booked out three years in advance. I try to fit around your date, not the other way around.

Focus. I book only one wedding per day, so my focus is on your event, not the next tight booking.

Most couples want photographic coverage of: the bride and groom’s preparations, the bride arriving, the ceremony, location shots, guest shots at the church/garden/ reception venue, entrance to the reception and mock cake cut. This means that your package includes approximately 10 hours of my time. I want to capture every moment, rather than clock-watching so that I can make it to the next wedding!

Friendliness. I’m always professional and polite to you and your guests, and I never steal your limelight or allow my photography to become intrusive.

We’ve all been to weddings where the photographer unintentionally or deliberately becomes the star of the show. I don’t bark orders or boss you or your guests around. I can mix with a wide range of people, and I’m experienced at efficiently organising groups and individuals in a polite and friendly manner.

Flexibility. Every Melbourne wedding is different, so I can accommodate your varying wedding photography needs.

A venue review is included in your package. Reviewing the venue/s beforehand allows us to chat about various photographic options.

I like to meet both of you at your venue/s around 4-6 weeks before your wedding day. This allows us to chat about the photographs in more detail, and it gives me the opportunity to think about the type of shots I’d like to take beforehand. This is a great time to discuss your ideas with me as well. It’s your wedding, so I welcome and value your input.

Honesty and transparency from the very first contact. I am clear, honest and transparent about what I offer and how I offer it.

It’s better that you get the right Melbourne photographer for your wedding, even if that means that I may not be right person for you. For example, I’d rather be honest about my pricing rather than lure you with a cheaper package, only to slug you with exorbitant, hidden fees later. With my packages and services, what you see is what you get.

Prompt delivery of your wedding photographs. Your photos are ready within 2-3 weeks.

Like most couples, you’ll be keen to see your wedding photographs after your wedding. Your photographs will be ready within 2-3 weeks, and if you’re on your honeymoon, you’ll have your very own private web page that you can view while you’re away. Your private web page remains on my website for 12 Months.

Various photographic options. You get photos in colour and black and white, photos on a disc and photos on your very own web page. Also, you can order prints a year or more later!

I have a range of wedding photography options, with all options including photographs on disc. Also, many couples order wall prints and albums from me years later, especially to commemorate milestone anniversaries.
